New Music, New Chapters, and Dropping the Mask
Life has a funny way of demanding authenticity. That's the heartbeat behind my newest country album, Drop Your Mask. Every song is a reminder that the strongest people aren't the ones who pretend everything is perfect—they're the ones willing to show the world who they really are.
As I continue releasing music under K. Angel Wolf Child, I'm also navigating some of the biggest personal changes of my life. Between preparing for a major move out West, working toward a stable future for my family, and continuing graduate school, this season has been about choosing courage over comfort.
Around the world, change seems to be the theme as well. Global leaders continue working through international tensions while economic uncertainty and shifting markets keep many families wondering what tomorrow will bring. At the same time, sports fans around the globe are celebrating the excitement of the FIFA World Cup, bringing millions of people together through competition and community. Recent diplomatic efforts have also focused on easing tensions in the Middle East and reopening key shipping routes that impact the global economy.
For me, music has always been the answer. When the headlines become overwhelming, a song can still remind us that we're human, that healing is possible, and that there's strength in vulnerability.
Drop Your Mask isn't just an album title—it's an invitation. An invitation to stop hiding behind expectations, fear, and old stories. To embrace who you are, speak your truth, and keep moving forward no matter what life throws your way.
Here's to new beginnings, honest music, and finding the courage to live without the mask.
If someone had told me a year ago that I'd be balancing music releases, child custody hearings, camping in the forest, planning a cross-country move, and building dreams around a tiny house cargo trailer, I probably would have laughed.
Yet here we are.

Life Lately: Music, Mountains, Courtrooms, and New BeginningsThe release of Tombstone marks one of the most meaningful milestones of my music career so far. This album isn't just a collection of songs—it's a snapshot of survival, resilience, and remembering who I am through every challenge life has thrown my way. Inspired by the spirit of the Old West and the idea that even after everything falls apart, you can still stand back up, Tombstone blends country roots with rock energy and heartfelt storytelling. Every lyric carries pieces of my journey, and every track represents another step toward healing, freedom, and chasing dreams that once felt impossible. Watching this project finally come to life has been both emotional and incredibly rewarding, and I can't wait to see where these songs take me next.
Outside of music, life has been just as eventful.
Politically and socially, the world continues to feel like it's shifting beneath our feet. There seems to be constant debate about rights, freedoms, families, and the direction our communities are headed. Like many people, I've found myself paying closer attention while also trying to stay grounded in what matters most: raising my son, creating meaningful art, and building a life based on integrity and compassion.
One of the biggest personal victories this season came in family court. I was grateful to once again receive a favorable outcome in my child custody case. Protecting my son's stability and well-being has always been my highest priority, and every positive step forward feels like a reminder that perseverance matters.
At the same time, my parents reached a major turning point in their own lives by selling their house. Watching them close one chapter and prepare for another has been emotional and inspiring. Change isn't always easy, but sometimes it's exactly what's needed to create space for new adventures.
Speaking of adventures...
I've also spent time camping in the forest outside of Middlebury on a commune, reconnecting with nature in a way that's hard to describe unless you've experienced it yourself. Living closer to the land has a way of stripping away distractions and reminding you what actually matters. Campfires, quiet mornings, conversations under the stars, and the rhythm of the woods have been a welcome contrast to the busyness of everyday life.
Meanwhile, another dream is steadily coming together: my touring setup.
I'm continuing to work on the vision of traveling with a tiny house cargo trailer—a mobile base that can support music, writing, creativity, and exploration. The goal is simple: create a lifestyle with more freedom, more experiences, and more opportunities to connect with people through music and storytelling while remaining financially sustainable.
Life isn't perfectly organized, and it certainly hasn't been easy. Some days have brought uncertainty, legal stress, financial questions, and difficult decisions. But they've also brought growth, unexpected opportunities, and a renewed belief that sometimes the winding road leads exactly where you're meant to be.
As I continue this journey, I'll keep sharing updates from the road, behind-the-scenes moments from my music projects, and reflections on the challenges and victories along the way.
Thank you to everyone who's listened to the songs, offered encouragement, and believed in the dream.
The story is still being written—and this next chapter might be the most exciting one yet.
— Energetic Forecast (May 1st 2026)
This week carries the energy of tension meeting awakening.
There’s a feeling of things not quite flowing—delays, resistance, conversations that should be simple becoming complicated. Globally, you can see it in stalled agreements and rising pressures. Energetically, it reflects a deeper truth: old systems are struggling to hold control while something new is asking to be born.
You might notice this showing up as frustration… or as clarity.
There’s also a strong undercurrent of rebalancing power. Voices that have been quiet are getting louder. People are questioning what they’ve tolerated, what they’ve normalized, and what they’re no longer willing to carry. It’s not chaotic for no reason—it’s corrective.
At the same time, there’s a surprising thread of connection and expression running through it all. Creativity, music, shared experiences—they’re not distractions right now, they’re medicine. They remind us who we are underneath the noise.
Emotionally, this week may feel heavy at moments—but not without purpose. It’s the kind of heaviness that asks you to pause, to feel, to notice what matters and what doesn’t anymore.
If there’s one message woven through this week, it’s this:
Pay attention to what feels out of alignment—internally and externally. That’s where change is already beginning.
And quietly, beneath everything…
Something is shifting.
